A trade mark is a sign which is capable of distinguishing goods or services of one enterprise from those of another and can be represented in a manner which enables the subject matter of the protection to be clearly and precisely determined.
Trade mark protection lasts for 10 years from the date of filing of the application. Protection can be renewed for further 10-year terms. Trade mark protection confers on its holder an exclusive right to use the trade mark.
