04 - CLAIM FOR THE PAYMENT OF UNCLAIMED BENEFITS IN THE EVENT OF THE DEATH OF THE BENEFICIARY(NYF_ELHNY_01)

In the event of the death of the beneficiary, the spouse, child, grandchild, parent, grandparent and sibling living in the same household as the beneficiary may request payment of the benefit unclaimed as a result, by completing the necessary application form, in successive order, within 1 year of the date of death. In the absence of a relative living in the same household as listed above, the heir may take up the unused benefit in equal proportion upon request within 1 year of the date on which the official legal decision of inheritance becomes final.
